Updated from the August 30, 2014 origin of this website. As of March 9, 2023: Radical Natural history is a record of my observations of nature–primarily taken from direct experience of nature over six decades on the Tallgrass Prairie, the Rockies, the Sierra Nevada and the Arctic. Combined with studies in systems theory, political science and history, I have worked on the radical notion of all our actions having consequences through a thought experiment: Generally True Patterns (GTP). Nine years of blog entries from 2014 to 2023 have covered a wide variety of topics from biology to art to politics. GTP has not always been at the forefront but has always hovered in the background.
